Lower Molonglo Secondary Treatment Augmentation
The Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre (LMWQCC) Secondary Treatment Augmentation project was managed by ActewAGL on behalf of ACTEW and commenced in January 2008. The project was undertaken to achieve two objectives:
The increased hydraulic capacity has been achieved with the construction of new tankage. This includes two Anoxic Biological Reactors, each with 4.2ML capacity, and three new secondary clarifiers, each with 6.6ML capacity. The augmented plant has a hydraulic capacity to continuously treat 100ML per day.
