By attending one of ACTEW’s FREE Waterwise Gardening Workshops between now and the end of May, you will not only learn how to keep your plants healthy during times of drought but also go into the draw to WIN $1,000 worth of gardening products.

Terms and Conditions

Anyone who attends a Waterwise Gardening Workshop between 1 January 2008 and 31 May 2008 will be entered into the Waterwise Gardening Prize draw. Attendance will be recorded by ACTEW staff at the commencement of each workshop. Interested persons can register to attend by completing the registration form, sending a letter (GPO Box 366, Canberra City ACT 2601), sending an email (waterconservation@actew.com.au), sending a fax (02 6248 3567) or calling (02 6248 3131). Call costs will not exceed 55c.

ACTEW Corporation staff may attend workshops but are not eligible for the prize.

Prize includes books, gardening supplies and plants to the retail value of $1000.

A winner will be drawn from all eligible attendees by an ACTEW representative at 12pm on Monday 2 June 2008 on Level 9 ActewAGL House, 221 London Circuit, Canberra City.

The winner will be notified via post and the result published in the Canberra Times on Sunday 8 June 2008.

If the prize is not claimed a redraw will be conducted on 2 September 2008 on Level 9 ActewAGL House, 221 London Circuit, Canberra City. The new winner will be notified by post and the result published in the Canberra times on Sunday 7 September 2008.

The competition commences on 1 January 2008 and closes 31 May 2008.
