Water conservation poems
To express their thoughts on water conservation, pupils at the Rosary Primary School
have written the following poems.
Drip drop, drip drop
We use water a lot,
We must be careful not to waste
Water when we use toothpaste
Water is a precious gift
It allows the boat to drift.
Water cools us down when we're hot,
And it helps the flowers in the pot.
Water's hot, water's cold
Let us drink 'til we are old.
Water's good, water's fresh
Let's be sure to waste it less.
Drip drop, drip drop,
We think that water rocks!

Pitter Patter
Water, water everywhere
Water, water in the air.
Rain from storms fill my tank
Water flows across the bank
The ocean water glistens blue
The waves crash over me and you.
The lake feels so peaceful and calm
As I feed the ducks bread from my palm.
Cool refreshing water down my throat it slides
It makes me stronger, healthier and alive!

Water
Water, water, what would we do
If we had to do without you!
Imagine a playground without any grass
There'd be no showers, there'd be no baths!
So, at home and at school
Let us make a special rule:
Save it for me
Save it for you
Save it for our future
Now, that would be cool!

Water
Water, water evaporate,
Water, water precipitate.
Water, water all around,
Falling, spreading on the ground.
Rain, rivers, water; running down the drain,
The sound of wasted water is driving me insane!
The water is falling on the ground, Oh no! Quickly stop that sound!
About saving water - we must educate,
When we've saved it, we can celebrate!

Water
Aqua, gentle
Wavy, flowing, raging
Scary, playful, life, relaxing
Quiet
