We manage our limited water resources in two ways: by improving the reliability of supply and by encouraging the community to use less water. Securing supply for an inland city in the driest continent on earth is a big challenge, especially with droughts tipped to get longer, drier and more frequent. ACTEW Corporation has already taken many steps to provide a high quality, reliable supply for the ACT, but for the future, we need to think even bigger.
